Painting for Charity

Published January 31, 2017 by suejansons

If I haven’t mentioned it before, hubby and I are members of the Moose Fraternity. It is a great organization that helps children that have no one to care for them. This is completely free to them and funded by all the lodges and their members. If you would like more details, here is the link to the home page.Moose International
One of the ways our local Lodge raises funds is by having a paint night once a month. We participated again this month. It’s always a fun event! Here are the progress pictures of my sea turtle for January!

Well, this was backwards! Thanks phone! 😂

I can tell you that I have never had painting instructions and I think my picture came out pretty darn good.
There are other places for profit that offer painting sessions. Some even have charity nights as well. Locally we have Painting with a Twist, and Wine and Canvas. I guarantee you will have fun no matter where you choose to go and you get a one of a kind piece of art as a souvenier! Here are some more pictures I have painted.
This was November’s Moose Paint Night.

Here are the ones I did at Painting with a Twist.

This was a date night painting where hubby and I each did one side.

This was my favorite one to do! It was the most difficult but I love the way it turned out!

So, if you want to paint your own masterpieces, try it out!
Happy crafting!
